Starting Point

We know that being new to a church can be exciting and intimidating. This class will introduce to you what we are all about. This is your chance to spend time with our Pastoral staff, ask questions, and begin your journey here at Fellowship. If you would like to find out more, along with answers to these questions, sign-up for this three week class.

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

— Matthew 22:37-39

Fellowship Baptist Church is a family that exists to make disciples that love God, love others, and serve both. We have developed a discipleship pattern that you can follow: Loving God, Loving Others, and Serving both. Discipleship is a journey.

What is your next step?

Loving God

Jesus told us that first and greatest commandment is to Love God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength. As a disciple-making church, we encourage every person to attend a weekly worship service designed to help them obey Jesus’ command.

At the center of every Sunday worship service is the preaching of God’s Word. God has given the church pastors and leaders to equip them for ministry. Don’t miss this week’s sermon.

Each week worship service is prepared in prayer and we spend time praising the name of our God and expressing our love for Him as we worship through singing and prayer.

Jesus teaches us, “Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Part of worship is regularly giving to God off the top of our income. At our worship services we take time to give sacrificially, cheerfully and out of love.

Loving Others

The second command of Jesus was simply this, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” The defining characteristic of a true follower of Jesus is the love they have for one another. We believe every disciple should have a group of godly friends they share life with. We accomplish this through small groups. Small groups are a safe place to meet new people, make friends, grow in faith, and have fun.

Life Groups

A Life Group is designed to be a group of 8-12 people that meet regularly for Bible study and spiritual care. We encourage every person at Fellowship to engage in a Life Group! The people in your group will become your best friends and your encouragers through life. It is through groups that you will experience real people who genuinely care for you.

Growth Groups

Growth Groups are a place to belong! These groups are teaching groups that do life together week by week. These groups meet on campus every Sunday!

Connect Groups

These are the places where you meet people like you. Sometimes it’s difficult just to make new friends and find where you belong. Connect Groups make it easier!

Serving Both

Did you know that every Christian has been given a supernatural gift that is meant to be used in service to others? We work hard to help every believer identify their spiritual gift mix and begin serving now. There is a place for every person in God’s work!

Ministry Teams

It takes an army of wonderful servants to continue forward with the gospel in Columbus. All of our ministry teams would love to have you sign up today to take a “test drive” and see what ministry is all about.

We have 8 ministry areas in which you can serve.
